Lending a hand...

This is Tyler Carroll.  I met him and Patrick Boll last Saturday when I was in Sioux Falls having some  Fall Mini-sessions.  Saturday was one of the most beautiful days at the Japanese Gardens.  They were having a Senior Session there as well.  As I was walking by, Patrick asked me if he could use my reflector.  He loved the location but there just wasn't enough light for the setting.  Of course, I jumped in to help out another photographer!  Tyler even allowed me to take a few shots of him.
As I was photographing Tyler, he played a song for me.  He's got talent!
This was my favorite image.  My goal was to capture his love of his guitar.  I hope that you can see his passion for music!  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day!
To Patrick, thank you for asking!  Good luck to you on your ventures!

  1. Wow. I love living in a country(and part of the country) where a person can walk up to a total stranger in the park, ask for help, and by the end of the day have a new friend. You are a very neat person Jill and the pleasure is all mine (and Tyler's) for getting to meet you. I love taking photos of friends and family and I love meeting new people. That Saturday morning I got to do both. What a wonderful way to meet new people and be a part of their life. Thanks again for taking the time to share a moment and then capture it in time. God bless from your new friends, Patrick and Tyler.
